Rare Disease Account Manager Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. Reporting Structure Reports To: Regional Business Director, Endocrinology Direct Reports: None Areas Managed: Regional Sales Overview The Rare Disease Account Manager (RDAM) will own promotional relationships and business results with healthcare providers and ancillary staff in an assigned geography. The RDAM is responsible for deploying sales strategies for approved products, growing sales volume and market share of Recordati’s rare disease products, and ensuring compliance with RRD, FDA, and OIG guidelines. Responsibilities Develop and maintain expert knowledge ofCushingSyndrome,CushingDisease, andAcromegaly,RRD’s products, the competitive landscape, and evolving market trends within the U.S. healthcare sector. Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders in the assigned geography. Develop and implement precise territory strategies and plans using market insights and internal resources to build awareness and identify appropriate patients. Achieve or exceed sales performance targets. Prioritize time and resources to ensure optimal visibility with healthcare providers and target customers. Manage budget to support sales and marketing activity. Represent RRD at industry functions and events to position the company as a committed partner with high ethical standards. Develop compliant collaboration with internal colleagues to meet healthcare provider and patient needs. Keep up to date on the latest developments within therapeutic areas, Recordati’s products, and market trends. Maintain accountability and strict adherence to RRD, FDA, and OIG guidelines. Act in full compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies, including adverse events and pharmacovigilance responsibilities. Perform additional duties as may be assigned. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required; scientific degree or coursework a plus. 5 to 9 years of proven track record in sales within Rare Diseases, Endocrinology, and/or biotechnology. Consistently exceeding sales targets. Experience with products managed under a specialty pharmacy model supported by a patient services hub. Demonstrated account management and business acumen skills. Expertise in developing and leveraging clinical disease‑state knowledge and consultative sales experience. Experience in cross‑functional collaboration. Small‑company and/or start‑up experience highly desirable. Experience executing within regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, OIG, PhRMA). Physical Demands Active role requiring frequent standing, walking, use of hands and arms, and occasional light lifting (up to 25 lb). Must fly via commercial air carrier and work extended hours, including weekends and nights. Location Field‑based position near a major airport. Approximately 50 % travel required. Frequent domestic travel to meetings and conferences. Disclosures Annualized Pay Range (Base Pay): $148,000 - $203,500. Eligible for an annual performance bonus.
