Part-Time W/ Benefits DriverUnder the direction of the Corps Officers, drives Salvation Army owned vehicle loading and unloading routine pickups and/or deliveries of material, donated or otherwise, to serve production needs of the store and/or general operation of corps.Key Responsibilities:Driving Responsibilities (45%)Donations Pick-Ups and Deliveries Responsibilities (45%)Vehicle Maintenance Responsibilities (10%)What We Are Looking For:High school diploma or G.E.D, ANDPrior experience driving a box truck, ORAny equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilitiesValid State Driver's LicenseEmployee Benefits:Paid Time OffAflac Dental & Vision InsuranceVoluntary Life InsurancePhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to read and follow a map and/or hand-written directions. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to drive a box truck safely and in compliance with laws, policies, and regulations. Duties require frequent periods of physical mobility including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, bending, squatting, and lifting. Physical duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting. Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with lifting, moving, and carrying heavy objects (more than 50 lbs.) frequently.
