About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience License: Active VA or Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong cardiac telemetry/stepdown nurse experience Experience managing chest tubes and dysrhythmias Experience working with cardiovascular surgery patients Description: We are seeking a skilled registered nurse for a stepdown cardiac unit. The unit specializes in caring for cardiac surgery patients following ICU treatment. Candidates must possess strong skills in cardiac tele and stepdown nursing. Experience managing chest tubes and dysrhythmias is essential. Weekend shifts will be required every other week. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Candidates must have an active VA or Compact nursing license. The position requires familiarity with telemetry and cardiovascular surgery patients. All applicants must be prepared for potential COVID-19 vaccination requirements. Candidates should be ready to work some holidays.
