Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Performs structural analysis of aircraft structures specializing in Landing Gear, Doors, and Windows for commercial aircraft.

• Uses finite element models and simulations with NASTRAN, PATRAN, ABAQUS, and Hypermesh for structural analysis.

• Uses 3D modeling tools such as CATIA and ENOVIA for model interrogation and verification.

• Performs static and fatigue analysis for aircraft structural components.

• Coordinates with design engineering teams for structural integrity and compliance.

• Provides technical solutions to a wide range of structural analysis problems.

• Develops test plans and supports structural testing for validation.

• Applies Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to structural analysis.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences from an ABET Accredited University.

• 12+ years of related work experience in structures analysis.

• Experience working with finite element models and simulations using NASTRAN, PATRAN, ABAQUS, and Hypermesh.

• Experience with 3D modeling tools such as CATIA and ENOVIA for model interrogation and verification.

• Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of structural problems.

• Experience in static and fatigue analysis for aircraft components.

• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
