Position SummaryThe Finished Goods Clerk is responsible for supporting daily shipping operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing shipping documentation, and assisting with weekly and month-end inventory closeouts. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and proficiency with spreadsheets and inventory systems.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Reviews and reconciles Bills of Lading (BOLs) with shipping logs for accuracyGenerates and distributes daily shipping schedulesPrepares shipping paperwork, including pick slips and Bills of LadingEnters shipping and sales data into inventory and sales spreadsheetsConfirms shipments including rails and update shipping recordsMonitors inventory levels and maintain inventory spreadsheetsProcesses physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory recordsFiles and organizes shipping and inventory documentationScans, copies, and distributes inventory reports and supporting documents to internal departmentsAssists with truck loadouts and shipping documentation throughout the dayCompletes weekly inventory closeout procedurePrepares and assembles inventory and shipping packets for managementVerifies sales totals against shipping recordsPerforms all weekly closeout procedures and all month end closeout proceduresEnsures all inventory records are complete and accurately filedEnsures reach truck is scaled in Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED1+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, inventory control, or manufacturing preferredPreferred Qualifications: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entryExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsWorking Conditions and Physical DemandsN/A | Occasionally = up to 20% | Frequently = 21% to 50% | Constantly = at least 51%Physical Demands frequently - Must be able to remain in a stationary position (Sit)frequently - Must be able to move about inside/outside office or work location (Walk)Constantly - Operates a computer and other office machinery (Use hands to finger, handle or feel)Weight and Force Demands Occasionally - Up to 10 poundsThe information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job.
