Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Home Patients

Job Opening: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Home Patients Location: Clarkston, GA Pay: $43 to $45 per hour (28 hours per week) Company Overview: Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join their pediatric home care team. This role is essential in providing exceptional, family-centered care to pediatric patients in the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, including monitoring health conditions, administering medications, and managing medical equipment. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Perform regular health assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately. Educate patients and families on managing pediatric conditions, medications, and overall care strategies. Ensure the safe use of medical devices and equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed. Foster a nurturing and supportive environment for pediatric patients and their families. Maintain strict compliance with healthcare laws, standards, and regulations. Qualifications Must hold an active RN license in the state of Georgia. At least one year of pediatric nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in administering medications and managing specialized pediatric care needs. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a family-centered approach to care. Current CPR certification (PALS certification is a plus). Experience working with home health or in‑home nursing is highly desirable. Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
