Location: The Villages, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

No weekends/No on-call responsibilities
Adult patient population

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join a physician-led vein and vascular practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience performing venous insufficiency studies, detailed venous mapping, and providing ultrasound guidance during vein procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with physicians in both diagnostic and procedural settings while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations with a primary focus on chronic venous insufficiency and superficial venous disease.

• Conduct detailed venous reflux studies and venous mapping to support treatment planning.

• Provide real-time ultrasound guidance during vein procedures, including:

  • Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT)

  • Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)

  • VenaSeal'

  • Varithena®

  • Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy (UGS)

• Accurately document ultrasound findings and maintain imaging records within the PACS system.

• Ensure all studies are completed according to established protocols and quality standards.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care.

• Maintain compliance with ACR guidelines and accreditation requirements.

• Assist in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Current ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification.

• Minimum 3 years of experience performing vascular ultrasound in a vein practice or related specialty.

• Strong experience with:

  • Venous insufficiency studies

  • Superficial venous incompetence evaluations

  • Detailed venous mapping

  • Phlebology ultrasound and vein disease assessment

• Experience providing ultrasound guidance during vein procedures.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a vein center, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, or phlebology practice.

• Familiarity with PACS systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
