Key Highlights Weekly pay: $3,113–$3,277 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: 4 weeks Shift: 8-hour rotating (Day/Evening), includes one weekend day per week Start date: 09/10/2026 Setting: hospital imaging department in Burlington, VT Responsibilities Perform diagnostic mammography imaging using Hologic mammography units; obtain standard and specialty views as ordered, ensuring image quality and patient safety. Position patients correctly for all views, maximize first-attempt image accuracy, and minimize repeats; educate patients about the exam as needed. Operate imaging equipment and manage image workflow; process and verify images; utilize EPIC and Visage for orders, documentation, and image transfer to radiologists. Maintain radiation safety protocols, verify patient identity, screen for contraindications, and adhere to infection control and privacy standards. Collaborate with radiologists and other technologists; participate in bi-weekly orientations on Mondays; comply with a no-float policy and a required weekend day per week. Document procedures and any deviations in the EMR; perform basic equipment QC and report maintenance needs as appropriate.
