Engineering SupervisorWe are currently seeking an experienced Engineer to act as a technical resource and provide work direction to an engineering staff focused on distribution system engineering, system planning, and/or substation engineering functions to ensure a safe, reliable, and economical distribution system.Key Responsibilities & ResultsProvide supervision and leadership to a team of engineersManage annual line construction capital budgetPerform and/or coordinate distribution engineering studiesEngineer and coordinate substation modification and expansion projectsSpecific functional duties will depend on successful candidate's experienceRequired Talents, Skills, Expertise, EducationBS degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license5+ years' progressive experience in various aspects of electric distribution utility engineeringKnowledge of the operation of electrical distribution systemWorking knowledge of National Electric Safety CodeProject management skillsStrong organizational skills with ability to lead people and to inspire a teamAble to clearly communicate information and ideas both verbally and writtenStrong customer service skills, both for internal and external customersAbility to learn and utilize enterprise software applications such as GIS, WAMS, SCADA, CIS, EA, CAD, and other specific application softwareAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
