Auditor Position

Amyx is seeking an Auditor to support our Air Force program at Quantico, VA.

The Auditor supports the Air Force Criminal Justice Information Center at HQ AFOSI in Quantico, Virginia. The role performs criminal justice records and systems auditing and compliance activities supporting the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of Department of the Air Force criminal history information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CJIS records and systems audits to evaluate compliance with applicable criminal justice information requirements.
• Validate criminal history records and support inspections and compliance reviews.
• Generate audit and compliance reports and identify discrepancies, risks, and required corrective actions.
• Support terminal audits and remediation of legacy criminal justice records.
• Work with records maintained across systems including the Interstate Identification Index (III), National Crime Information Center (NCIC), and National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).
• Coordinate with Government personnel and other AFCJIC team members to resolve identified record and compliance issues.
• Support a seamless Government-contractor team at the DAF-CJIC performance location.
• Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility where required for assigned duties.
• Experience performing audit, compliance, records-management, analytical, or closely related functions.
• Ability to analyze records, identify discrepancies, document findings, and support corrective actions.
• Ability to work full-time at the Government site in Quantico, Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Department of Defense, Department of the Air Force, AFOSI, law-enforcement, or criminal justice information environments.
• Experience with FBI CJIS-related systems or processes, including III, NCIC, or NICS.
• Experience auditing criminal history records, supporting compliance inspections, or remediating legacy records.
• Current AFCJIC mission experience or other directly comparable incumbent experience.
