Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Customer Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex customer-facing technology projects. This individual will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, stakeholder communications, and overall execution while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and experience delivering multi-technology projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead one to two large, complex, high-risk customer projects with global reach

• Manage transactional and subscription-based projects to achieve defined customer business outcomes

• Establish project governance, structure, processes, and accountability across the delivery organization

• Provide strategic direction and align project execution with customer objectives

• Develop project plans and lead complex, end-to-end implementations

• Track project metrics and manage budgets, financial performance, and profitability

• Control scope and lead contractual change-management activities throughout the project lifecycle

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies

• Deliver clear status reporting and communications to key stakeholders

• Manage third-party technical delivery partners and related commercial requirements

• Identify expansion opportunities and provide input into presales and renewal evaluations

• Act as a Service Transition Lead in the presales environment when required

• Mentor junior project management team members

• Participate in or lead internal strategic and process-improvement initiatives

Share lessons learned and best practices across the broader project management community

Skills and Requirements

• College or university degree, or equivalent experience

• 10+ years of related project management experience in a comparable industry

• Experience leading one to two large, complex customer projects

• Global project delivery experience

• Experience delivering multi-technology projects with multiple dependencies

• Proven ability to lead high-risk projects and develop effective risk-response strategies

• Strong end-to-end project planning, execution, governance, and business-alignment experience

• Experience managing project financials, profitability, metrics, scope, and contractual change control

• Strong executive and key-stakeholder communication and reporting skills

• Experience managing customers, internal delivery teams, and third-party technical partners

• Ability to mentor junior project management professionals

Experience participating in or leading strategic and process-improvement initiatives • Project management experience within an IT or telecommunications organization

• Service transition leadership experience within a presales environment

• Experience supporting presales opportunities and renewal evaluations

• Experience managing third-party partner delivery and commercial considerations

• Experience leading internal strategic initiatives or operational process improvements

Active involvement in a project management community of practice, including sharing best practices and lessons learned
