The Opportunity We are seeking part-time licensed or pre-licensed therapists who are passionate about working with individuals and couples, especially those navigating complex relationship issues. You will step into an established practice with a waiting list, administrative support, and a healthy team culture. This is an opportunity to deepen your expertise in couples therapy, grow clinically through consultation and training, and build a strong, stable caseload without having to manage the business side of private practice. What You'll Do Provide high-quality therapy to individuals and couples in our community, with a focus on relationship challenges, conflict, and relational trauma. Develop strong therapeutic relationships with clients and collaborate with other professionals to ensure care is accurate, respectful, and effective. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records in accordance with practice policies and legal/ethical standards. Manage and maintain your client schedule, including some evening and/or weekend availability, and follow clients through intake and ongoing treatment. Collaborate with our clinical and administrative team, participate in consultations and training, and uphold Maverick Marriage Therapy policies, HIPAA regulations, and all applicable laws. What Success Looks Like Building and maintaining a consistent part-time caseload of individuals and couples who experience meaningful progress in their relational goals. Earning strong rapport and trust from clients, reflected in engagement, retention, and client feedback. Maintaining complete, accurate documentation and following all practice, legal, and ethical standards with minimal supervision. Actively engaging in professional growth, consultation, and training, and contributing positively to our warm, team-oriented culture. What We're Looking For Master’s degree in a relevant field (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related) and licensed or working toward licensure. At least 1 year of experience providing couples counseling, ideally with high-conflict or complex relationship cases. Warm, compassionate, confident communicator who is humble, takes initiative, and is highly motivated to learn and grow. Comfort working some evening and/or weekend hours, with strong professionalism, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation: approximately $69,600 at minimum hours up to about $139,000 at 30 hours per week, with opportunities to earn more with advanced training and additional hours. Flexible schedule with the option for work-from-home days, modern renovated office, free parking, referrals from a waiting list, and full administrative support (including consultation calls and client booking).
