CT Tech

This position involves working in a computerized tomography (CT) setting. The role utilizes GE scanners and Sectra PACS. The schedule is Wednesday, Friday, 08:00 - 18:30, and one additional day shift every other weekend. The candidate should have experience with adult acute care and outpatient settings. Skills in various CT procedures such as brain perfusion and coronary CTA are essential. Knowledge of radiation safety and contrast media preparation is necessary. The candidate must be able to work with a diverse patient population, including infants, adolescents, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is approximately 120 with a total of 240 beds available. Interdisciplinary support may be involved in patient care delivery. This role includes responsibilities in an emergency department setting and trauma care. Experience in using Epic EMR is strongly preferred for effective patient documentation. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and teamwork abilities. The hiring process requires a complete work history from the last seven years. References are also required from positions held within the past year, including one from a manager. All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety. Availability to adhere to the specified schedule and duties is crucial. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
