Position Overview

One of our Partners in Georgia is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an Orthopedic Surgery locum assignment supporting multiple outpatient orthopedic clinics throughout the Atlanta metro area.

This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, Epic EMR, no call responsibilities, and exposure to a diverse orthopedic patient population including hand surgery, sports medicine, and joint replacement patients.

Provider Pay: $130/hour

Pay Ranking: Top 10-15% nationally for Orthopedic Surgery APP locum opportunities (2026 market data).

• Average 21 patients daily
• Georgia License required
• Local candidates only
• BLS required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted

Job Responsibilities

• Orthopedic patient evaluations
• Sports medicine assessments
• Hand and upper extremity evaluations
• Joint replacement follow-up care
• Fracture follow-up evaluations
• Ordering and reviewing imaging studies
• Treatment planning
• Patient education
• Documentation within Epic
• Care coordination with orthopedic surgeons
• Orthopedic procedures within APP scope of practice
• Follow-up orthopedic management
