Clinical Lead Psychologists serve as trusted peer leaders within a small pod of clinicians, helping strengthen clinical quality, team connection, and operational consistency across the practice. This role is designed for therapists who want to both continue growing clinically themselves and help cultivate excellence within a broader clinical community.In this role, you'll partner closely with leadership, contribute to shaping practice culture and systems, and play an active role in supporting clinicians professionally while continuing to grow your own leadership skillset as you maintain your own caseload. This is an ideal opportunity for clinicians interested in long term growth within a collaborative and rapidly expanding organization.What you will do:Maintain an Active Caseload — Provide direct client care while fulfilling pod leadership duties, modeling the clinical standards expected of all pod members.Clinical Leadership & Peer Support • Serve as a first line support and consultation resource for clinicians within your pod • Help foster a collaborative, psychologically safe, and growth oriented team culture • Support clinicians in navigating complex clinical situations, client escalations, and workflow challenges • Reinforce evidence based care and strong clinical standards through mentorship and consultationOperational & Caseload Support • Help clinicians maintain consistent scheduling practices that support continuity of care and sustainable caseload management • Support therapists in maintaining timely and high quality documentation aligned with practice standards • Identify patterns related to burnout risk, scheduling barriers, or operational inefficiencies and collaborate with leadership proactively • Assist with onboarding and integration of new clinicians into workflows, systems, and cultureLeadership Collaboration • Partner with Clinical Managers and leadership on quality initiatives, systems improvement, and practice development • Participate in leadership meetings and collaborative problem solving discussions • Help strengthen communication, accountability, and consistency across the pod structureOn-Call Coverage — Provide on-call support after regular business hours as needed to support clinical care.Cross-Country Support — Ability to support providers that work in Pacific, Central and Eastern time zones as needed.What we're looking for:Active independent licensure in New York (Ph.D, Psy.D., or equivalent)Minimum 3 years of post licensure experienceStrong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence based careNatural leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills; prior experience in a supervisory, lead clinician or peer consultation role preferredAbility to balance warmth, accountability, and professionalismComfort navigating evolving systems within a growing organizationExperience in outpatient or private practice settings preferredLocation:New York-Based: Hybrid | All Other Locations: RemotePositions needed in EST, CST, or PSTBenefits of Working for Thriving Center of Psychology:Full Benefits Package: Health, Dental, Vision, 401kDiverse client/patient base based on your populations and areas of expertise40-hour work week, with a goal of 27 clients seen per week.Minimal Paperwork (no collections, no insurance hassles)!Full administrative support + clinical supportGym/fitness reimbursementYearly CEU stipendGroup Case Consultation meetings + 1 on 1 Clinical SupportWhy Thriving Center?Work-life balance We know that therapists who can take care of themselves can take better care of others.Grow as a therapist Therapists have the opportunity to meet weekly with colleagues to discuss cases and share second opinions.
