Heritage Financial Consultants, a wealth management and financial planning firm, is hiring a Client Relationship Manager for one of our teams in Hunt Valley, MD. You'll work closely with a financial advisor as the primary point of contact for an established group of clients — coordinating their needs, managing ongoing service, and helping deliver a consistently high-quality client experience.

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned group of clients
• Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and follow-through
• Coordinate client support and next steps with the advisor and broader team
• Manage client requests, tracking outstanding needs and action items to completion
• Lead client meeting preparation — gathering information, preparing reports and materials, and coordinating follow-up
• Generate client reports and materials using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other applicable systems
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client information in CRM and account management systems
• Proactively identify client service needs and route them to the right team member
• Identify opportunities to improve client service processes and team efficiency
• Balance independent ownership of priorities with close collaboration alongside the advisor and team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• FINRA Series 7 license required, or the ability to obtain it within an established timeframe
• Interest in growing your knowledge of financial planning and wealth management

Experience

• 2+ years in financial services or a professional client-service environment
• Direct client-facing experience managing ongoing service needs
• Financial services or wealth management experience preferred
