Backserver / Support

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and team-oriented Back Server / Support Staff member to help deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.

The Back Server / Support Staff member plays an essential role in supporting the front-of-house team during service. This position works closely with servers, runners, bartenders, hosts, and managers to maintain the dining room, assist with table service, and ensure guests receive attentive and efficient hospitality.

The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment.

• Support servers and service staff throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables.
• Provide water service and replenish water as needed.
• Clear plates, glassware, and utensils promptly and professionally.
• Reset tables according to Passerine's service standards.
• Assist with running food, beverages, and other items to guests.
• Assist servers with coursing and pacing of dishes when required.
• Ensure the dining room, service stations, and support areas remain clean and organized.
• Stock service stations with plates, glassware, silverware, napkins, and other necessary supplies.
• Polish silverware, glassware, and other service items.
• Assist with pre-service setup and post-service breakdown.
• Communicate guest requests and service needs promptly to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain awareness of guest needs and proactively assist whenever possible.
• Assist with special events, private dining, and high-volume services as required.
• Follow all restaurant sanitation, safety, and operational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the entire F&B team to maintain smooth service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Fine-dining or upscale restaurant experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods.
• Willingness to learn restaurant standards, menu items, and service procedures.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry service items.
• Must be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
