We have revenue of approximately $265 million with 1,000+ team members across locations in Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Mumbai (India), Nashville, and St. Louis.A Private Client Services Tax Manager is a key participant in client service, team member development, specialty expertise, and business development.Major Responsibilities:Provide outstanding service to a broad range of high net worth individuals, executives and business owners and related entities in accordance with RubinBrown Client Service StandardsDemonstrate technical competence in specialty expertise (in Income tax, Compliance, and Planning)Manage engagements/assignments in a consistently profitable mannerReview client engagement/assignment documentation, returns and work papers for accuracySupervision of client engagement/assignment proceduresDevelopment of team members – serve as mentor, advisor, team leader, and/or Career Advocate (CA)Provide team members with timely and candid performance feedback supporting the firm's performance management processPlan and complete assignments in a timely mannerAbility to recognize, research, document and satisfactorily resolve technical issuesGenerate new business and retain current businessExpand services to existing clientsPreferred Experience/Background/Skills:CPA requiredBachelors degree in Accounting or related degreeFive or more years of applicable experience in individual income tax planning and complianceExperience with trust income tax compliance a plusAbility to research technical issues and document resultsAbility to supervise, coach, and develop individuals and/or large groups.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strict adherence to professional ethics.Working Conditions:Typical office hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm.Must be available for on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as requested.Ability to work extra hours, different hours, or staggered hours as determined by the workload and expectations especially between February and April each year.Some travel will be required to assist in other locationsAbility to sit for long periods of time.Ability to move throughout office.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.Ability to communicate with clients, team members, etc.Colorado, Illinois, and Nevada Salary Statement:The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential applicants who will work or reside in the states of Colorado and Las Vegas if selected for the role.
