We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for providing professional towing, recovery, roadside assistance, and vehicle transport services while delivering excellent customer service. This position requires safe operation of commercial tow trucks, adherence to DOT regulations, and a commitment to maintaining company equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles and equipment.
  • Must have a CDL
• Respond to towing, recovery, roadside assistance, accident, and vehicle transport calls.
• Perform vehicle loading, securing, transporting, and unloading using proper towing procedures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
• Complete required paperwork, logs, and electronic documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of company vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, law enforcement, and repair facilities.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and any required DOT testing.
• Previous towing or recovery experience is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates without mechanical experience must be willing to learn and develop their skills through on-the-job training.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating flatbed, wheel-lift, or heavy-duty tow trucks.
• Basic automotive or diesel mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with recovery equipment, winching techniques, and vehicle securing methods.
• DOT compliance knowledge.
