Administrative Assistant - Employee Benefits

In Office - Chandler, Arizona Be the trusted administrative guru at a growing insurance agency! The Mahoney Group, founded in 1915, is a premier insurance agency of approximately 250 employees headquartered in Chandler, Arizona. We're searching for detailed-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide support and ensure efficient operations in the Emplyee Benefits area. This role is responsible for a variety of tasks including scheduling, data entry, document preparation, record keeping, and internal coordination. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do
- Manages calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinates logistics for appointments and events.
- Drafts, formats, and proofreads routine correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintains and organizes physical and digital filing systems.
- Responds to internal and external inquiries by phone, email, or in-person.
- Supports procurement of office supplies and manage inventory levels.
- Prepares expense reports, track budgets, and assists with basic financial tasks as needed.
- Provides general support to team members, including meeting preparation and document management.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to organizational policies.
- Attends and participates in internal meetings and completes required training.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or required.

- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- 1-3 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Zoom.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work, collaborate, and communicate with individuals at varying levels across the organization.
- Effective time management skills.
- Responsive and self-motivated team player.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
