Immediate Medical Assistant Contract Position
Contract position available for our physician practice group in West Babylon, NY.
Experience with Family Medicine or Primary Care a plus! Pay Rate: $23.00/hr Work Schedule:
- Monday: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 11am-7pm
- Thursday: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 11am-7pm
- Friday: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
- Occasionally Saturdays: 8am-2pm
Responsibilities:
- Obtain the patient's medical history and document in the electronic medical record
- Medical chart review, assisting providers, rooming patients, taking patient vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy and preparation of exam rooms
- Assist with front desk responsibilities, as needed
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and at least 6 months MA experience
- BLS Certification
- Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- EPIC system experience a plus
