Chris Cooper, ICF Cert, Career, Life, and Leadership Coach My name is Chris Cooper. I’m an award winning ICF Professional Certified Coach. I work in the areas of Career Coaching, Life Coaching and Leadership and Executive Coaching. I help people work out what they want from their life, career or business and support them to achieve the outcomes they are looking for. Ultimately, this work helps them move towards being the best version of themselves, realising their potential and becoming the person they want to be. Through increased levels of self awareness, commitment and a clear vision of what they want to achieve, my clients are able to move forwards, achieve their goals and lead more joyful and fulfilling lives. My mission is to elevate self‑improvement so working intentionally to achieve your potential becomes normal for everyone. Lots of people hire personal trainers to get a better body, but they rarely invest in their personal development. I want more people to have the courage to open their minds to new opportunities, embrace change, make better life choices and believe in their abilities. My philosophy is that all aspects of life are important. Whether it’s your career, relationships, family, friends, health, fitness, education or interests, they all play a part in how you feel about life. We need to focus on all of these areas in order to be happy, which I call my business Life Complete. Through coaching I have worked with hundreds of professionals in fields such as law, HR, finance, healthcare and the creative industries, in addition to small business owners, sports people and postgraduate students. Working together, I help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves so they know what they want from their life and career and support them to greater self‑awareness and achievement of goals. I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach. My PCC certification means I am accredited to a high level by the world’s largest organisation for coaches. To achieve this, I went through a rigorous process of training and assessments and undertake continuous professional development to keep my skills as a coach current and at a high level. It’s a hallmark of quality, just like my former career as a chartered surveyor where I held MRICS after my name. I completed my formal training as a Personal Performance Coach and NLP Practitioner with The Coaching Academy, the world’s leading coach training provider. I am also a member of ANLP (the Association for Neuro‑Linguistic Programming) and certified to coach using EQi 2.0, a globally recognised measurement tool for emotional intelligence. I hold a degree in Management and Marketing from a UK business school and a master’s degree in Real Estate Development and Investment. In 2022, I was recognised for my work in the coaching profession when I was presented with the Thomas J. Leonard Humanitarian Award, named after the pioneering and inspirational coach who founded the International Coaching Federation. Prior to becoming a coach, I had a diverse career path working in retail, travel, property, sports, leisure and health sectors. This culminated in my role as operations director for a fast‑growing sports business where I supported some of the UK’s best known Olympic athletes to develop their businesses. I’m a huge advocate of creating a healthy lifestyle to look and feel better, incorporating enjoyable, challenging physical activity and eating well. For me, essential components are yoga, running, resistance training and a nutritious vegan diet. I incorporate daily practices into my life to help me feel good and perform to my best: a long walk in my local nature park with my dogs Lily and Phoebe, reading and listening to audiobooks and podcasts, cooking healthy meals, regular contact with loved ones and engaging in activities that interest me and bring me joy—top of the list being music and sport. I live in Manchester, North West England with my two dogs and a huge record collection.
