School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) | up to $55 per hour | Part Time or Full Time | Greater Kansas City Area, MO | 2026-2027 School Year Ampersand Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a part-time or full-time, in-person position in a school setting. Whether you’re an experienced school-based PT or just beginning your school therapy journey, we’d love to hear from you! Job Highlights Location: Greater Kansas City Area, MO Position: Physical Therapist (PT) – School Setting Full time or part time available Schedule: M-F for full-time; or choose your days/hours for part-time Setting: In-person, K–12 public school environment August 2026-June 2027 Responsibilities Provide school-based PT services including assessments, treatment, and consultation Conduct evaluations and write reports Participate in IEP meetings and write IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families Maintain timely documentation and progress notes Qualifications Must hold (or be eligible for) Missouri PT license Must hold (or be willing to obtain) MoPro License Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required Healthcare Benefits* 401(k) with company matching W-2 employment with general and professional liability insurance Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and other professional expenses Mileage reimbursement at IRS rate between school sites No non-compete clauses Paid time off for volunteer work and donation matching* (*Benefits apply to 0.8 FTE and above, following a short waiting period) Why Join Ampersand Therapy?
