Material Handler

Material Handler (1st Shift)

Join a growing team as a Material Handler in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role combines warehouse and production responsibilities, including material handling, inventory management, order picking, packing, and forklift operation. Candidates should be comfortable working in both warehouse and manufacturing settings while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and support production.
• Pull and stage materials for manufacturing and replenishment needs.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming products and materials.
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Read and follow work orders, instructions, and production schedules.
• Utilize RF scanners and basic computer systems to track inventory.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Support warehouse and production teams as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of material handling experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.
• Experience with inventory, picking, packing, and visual inspection.
• RF scanner and basic computer experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Overtime available as needed (up to 4:30 PM)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
