Job Title: Fleet Driver / Class A or B

Department: Logistics

Reports to: Fleet Supervisor

Unload, load, and secure products to and from truck, trailer and designated storage areas. Run routes efficiently within the allotted time while handling customer or invoice issues with care. Drive a variety of vehicles depending on the needs of the company. Comply with organizational, state, and local driving rules and regulations. Verify accuracy of material on invoices or purchase orders at time of loading or delivery.

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure safety of self, fellow employees and customers

2. Take responsibility for security of materials being transported

3. Maintain cleanliness of trucks and trailers

4. Report to fleet manager information to optimize method of delivery and routes

5. Retrieve and load customers material

6. Maintain appropriate paperwork for transit and delivery of material

7. Offload receivables, notify managers of materials arrival

8. Ensure material on invoices matches material loaded onto delivery vehicle

9. Obtain customer signatures on Nova’s invoice copy on delivery, return copy to the appropriate warehouse manager

10. Assess and report damage or loss of transported materials

11. Alert managers of priority customers, problems, or opportunities

12. Ensure customers are happy with their experience in your department
