Staff Accountant Sparta, TN Full-time | Exempt Join TACO Metals as a Staff Accountant! We’re looking for a detail-driven Accountant to support critical financial operations and help keep our business running smoothly. At Taco Metals, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise in reconciliations, reporting, and financial processes directly contributes to company success. What You’ll Do As our Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting functions and month-end close activities. Responsibilities include: Preparing and posting journal entries during the month-end close Reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining accurate financial records Managing daily bank reconciliations, cash receipts, and cash postings Preparing and filing monthly sales tax returns Creating and distributing sales commission and royalty reports Processing and posting Concur transactions and related reporting Assisting the Controller with corporate reporting and special financial projects Collaborating cross-functionally to improve processes and solve problems proactively Supporting continuous improvement through training and professional development What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in a manufacturing environment Strong experience with ERP systems Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism and confidentiality Why Join Us?
