Cardiac CT Technologist

Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs high-quality imaging procedures at Acworth Health Park, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities: Operate imaging equipment independently, capture diagnostic images, and adjust techniques to maintain quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Prepare patients by explaining procedures, obtaining clinical history, and ensuring privacy and safety throughout the process. Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques when necessary, position patients correctly, and review images for diagnostic acceptability. Complete accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain equipment and infection control standards. Organize workflows, support department operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum 1 year of radiology experience. Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS (American Heart Association).
