Nurse Practitioner – Disability Assessment Company: Mrg Exams Job Description: We are looking for the right Nurse Practitioner to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In performing Disability Assessments you will review medical records electronically via a web portal and conduct a focused, in‑person physical exam on each Veteran. You will electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal. The Nurse Practitioner does NOT make disability determinations – the United States Veterans Administration handles all determinations. This role ONLY performs Disability Assessments on Veterans and does not involve treatment or prescription of medication. The position averages 3–5 assessments per day. Responsibilities Perform independent medical assessments on Veterans. Review medical records electronically via web portal. Conduct focused in‑person physical exams. Document exam findings electronically per VA requirements. Maintain time management to meet assessment targets of 3–5 patients per day. Qualifications Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license. Proficient use of computer systems. Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and exam findings.
