Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 3073.40 - 3227.07

Schedule: 07:00 - 17:30

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: PA or Compact License required at time of submission; ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required; 2 years of experience required; trauma level II experience required; Cardiac surgery experience including CABGs, Aortic/ Mitral Valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, LVADs; Epic charting system; scrub and circulate Cardiac surgery; experience with cardiac procedures; first time travelers accepted with appropriate experience; on call Friday/Saturday/Sunday; average 2 weekends every 6 weeks with some vacation coverage; 1 winter and 1 summer holiday requirement; no floating; shift 4x10-hour days.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac surgery patients in the CVOR setting.
• Prepare and monitor patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including CABGs, valve repairs, transplants, and LVADs.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective procedures.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays, to support 24/7 patient care.
