Join our global community of over 200,000 dedicated employees around the world in driving the transformation of the eyewear and eyecare industry.Job DescriptionGeneral Function: The Materials Handler 1 performs Cycle Counts and adjustments to monitor and maintain an accurate statement of on-hand inventory and provides accuracy of Distribution Center processes by conducting audits of processes and associates within all phases of Distribution as needed.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesAudits areas and processes as required determining associate and process accuracy.Verifies outbound shipment accuracy to stores, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.Performs cycle counts including initial counts, recounts, and researches discrepancies.Performs Inventory adjustments and write-offs as required.Responsible for any additional duties assigned.Basic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED6+ months experience in a distribution center environmentDetail OrientedFlexible and able to multi-taskStrong communication skillsMicrosoft Word and ExcelAbility to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/ManagerAbility to work independentlyAbility to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hoursAbility to lift up to 65 lbs.Preferred QualificationsExperience with AS400 and SAPThis posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
