REASONS PROGRAM THERAPIST

Residential Program Therapist (Pasadena, Arcadia) Responsibilities The Reasons Program Therapist performs functions including providing individual, family, and group therapy to residents with a primary eating disorder diagnosis. The successful candidate will function as part of a treatment team, delivering high‑quality care alongside the psychiatrist, Registered Dietitian, medical staff, and dedicated support service staff in a milieu environment. Qualifications Master's Degree required from an accredited college or university, in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or a related mental health field preferred. Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; and strong clinical assessment skills, preferred. Those with experience in the eating disorder field are highly encouraged to apply. In lieu of experience specialized education and training may be acceptable. We will provide training for caring, compassionate and interested hires. IAEDP‑approved supervision is available for those pursuing their Certified Eating Disorder Specialist credentials. May be required to work Saturdays.
