Payroll Coordinator

In this essential role, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring our dedicated workforce is paid accurately and in full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Working on a consistent, full-time daytime schedule, you will play a critical operational role by managing complex payroll workflows, navigating time and attendance systems, and maintaining W-2 compliance. You will serve as a key resource and collaborator, interacting regularly with Human Resources, department managers, and staff across the organization to resolve inquiries and maintain seamless payroll operations. If you bring proven full-cycle payroll expertise, strong system proficiency, and a dedication to accuracy in a high-volume setting, this 26-week assignment offers an exceptional platform to apply and expand your skills.

salary: $32.32 - $32.33 per hour

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Perform full-cycle, in-house payroll processing and reimbursements in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Collaborate with HR and management to ensure accurate paychecks, time tracking, and tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end, full-cycle payroll processing independently for multiple shifts and job types.

• Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws, including W-2 reporting.

• Utilize automated time and attendance systems to verify hours and calculate reimbursements.

• Partner with HR and department managers to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• 3+ years of employee payroll processing experience in an environment with non-outsourced payroll.

• Hands-on experience with Workday (UKG, PeopleSoft, or API timekeeping experience a plus).

• strong knowledge of multi-shift payroll, Federal Form W-2 requirements, and payroll compliance.
