Pharmacist - Elko, NV

This opportunity is for a Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in a small, approximately 50-bed hospital located in Elko, NV. The assignment offers an immediate start and spans 13 weeks or longer, providing a rewarding environment working closely with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use for patients.


Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy staffing duties including order verification and medication dispensing
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure smooth workflow within the pharmacy department
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide clinical consultations and medication guidance
• Monitor pharmacokinetics and adjust medications as appropriate based on patient needs and lab results

Schedule:

• Day shifts, 10 hours per day
• Potential to work a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, if preferred

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Nevada Pharmacist license required
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings highly desired
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clinical staff
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced hospital environment
