Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0700-1900 hours, varies based on need Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years hospital experience required License: Current Registered Nurse License in Kansas Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing Description: Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Follows professional standards and state regulations, adhering to the health center mission. Completes nursing database and care plan with concise and pertinent information. Reports findings to the physician. Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely, efficiently, and with technical skill. Safely defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior at the earliest possible stage. Identifies patient learning needs and provides education. Demonstrates appropriate and effective use of delegation. Effectively utilizes information provided in annual training and follows nurse practice act.
