Reference: PR/612262_1790716203Quality ManagerLocation: Sheboygan, WIOverviewA leading manufacturer of corrugated packaging products is seeking a Quality Manager to join its plant leadership team in Sheboygan, WI. This individual will be responsible for driving quality excellence, process improvement, food safety compliance, and customer satisfaction across a high-volume manufacturing operation. The Quality Manager will partner closely with operations, commercial teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure products consistently meet quality and performance expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and promote a culture of continuous improvement focused on quality, process control, yield enhancement, and defect reduction.Develop and implement quality initiatives that improve manufacturing performance and customer satisfaction.Partner with internal and external customers to address quality concerns and ensure expectations are consistently met.Drive root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to quality issues.Lead employee training programs focused on quality systems, standards, and best practices.Champion food safety and product stewardship programs throughout the facility.Facilitate quality-focused meetings and cross-functional improvement projects.Prepare and present quality performance metrics and reports to plant leadership.Monitor supplier performance and ensure incoming materials meet established specifications.Track, analyze, and communicate key quality indicators and trends.Support facility safety initiatives as a member of the plant leadership team.Manage systems related to production data collection, customer complaints, and quality reporting.Oversee calibration and maintenance of inspection and measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.Required QualificationsLeadership experience managing quality systems and process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing, industrial, packaging, paper, or military environment.Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Cause Mapping, or equivalent problem-solving methodologies.Strong customer-facing experience, including communication of quality issues, corrective actions, and performance updates.Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS).Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Authorization to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or another STEM-related field.Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training or certification.Knowledge of food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, SQF, or BRCGS.Experience within corrugated packaging, converting, paper manufacturing, or related industries.Familiarity with manufacturing quality data systems and reporting tools.Ideal BackgroundThis position is ideal for a quality leader who has experience in corrugated packaging, paper products, converting, printing, consumer products, food packaging, or other process manufacturing environments.
