Job Overview:


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Cleaning Technician for Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas. The cleaning technician will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff, and visitors.


Responsibilities:


Cleaning and Sanitizing:
• Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in a healthcare setting.

Trash and Recycling:
• Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.


Restocking Supplies:
• Ensure that all restrooms are well-supplied with soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Safety and Maintenance:
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor. Assist in maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment for staff and visitors.

Communication:
• Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate cleaning schedules and any special cleaning requests. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Qualifications:
• Prior custodial or cleaning experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:
• This role will require approximately 30 hours per week and hours may vary. The work environment may include exposure to cleaning chemicals and human excrement. HIPAA privacy standards must be adhered to.

Screenings: Drug Testing and Criminal Background Check

Starting pay is $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

90 Day retention bonus of $150 paid after first 90 days with good attendance
