# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (ICU/Medical-Surgical) – Kansas Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Chanute, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM start time; rotating weekend requirement; block scheduling potentially available Highlights:

• Critical care opportunity with patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1
• Flexibility to float between ICU and Medical-Surgical units within scope of practice
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Potential for block scheduling arrangements (three consecutive shifts)

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS or ENPC certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Proficiency with ICU drips and sedation management
• Demonstrated comfort in critical care situations and emergency response
