This position includes both clinical responsibilities and the role of Director for the Acute Care Surgery Division, which is a newly established position within our organization. This presents a unique opportunity for candidates to influence and enhance our surgical program while aligning with our Vision 2030 objectives. These objectives focus on improving patient outcomes, fostering a strong research program, and providing educational opportunities through our collaboration with Drexel University. Practice Highlights & Innovations

• Become part of a team of board-certified general and surgical critical care specialists delivering trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery services to the southeastern New Jersey community.
• Our facility is an ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center, operational for 33 years, handling over 2,000 trauma cases each year.
• The Acute Care Surgery service line, launched less than two years ago, is experiencing rapid growth and presents a varied surgical caseload.
• This leadership position offers a distinctive chance to develop protocols, spearhead quality improvement projects, and work alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team to enhance surgical outcomes.
• Utilization of Cerner EMR and coordinated care teams to ensure efficiency and continuity of care.
