Flooring Installation Manager - Portland, OR

We are looking for an experienced Installation Manager who knows flooring, knows how to lead people, and thrives in a fast-moving operations environment.

This is not a desk job. You’ll be in the middle of the action—working with installers, coordinating schedules, solving problems, checking job sites, supporting customers, and making sure our teams have what they need to deliver exceptional work.

What You’ll Do

As an Installation Manager, you’ll help keep our daily flooring operations running smoothly from load-out through completed installation.

You will:

• Lead and coordinate daily work assignments with the Operations Team
• Manage the installation calendar and schedule installation crews
• Conduct and coordinate job-site inspections
• Help ensure every installation meets Profloors’ quality standards
• Work directly with installation crews to resolve field issues
• Communicate with customers and help resolve installation concerns before, during, and after jobs
• Measure apartment units and verify job requirements
• Ensure installation crews follow OSHA and company safety requirements
• Assist with warehouse operations when needed
• Lead morning load-out by reviewing work orders and making sure installers have the correct materials and tools before heading to their jobs
• Jump in, problem-solve, and help the team keep things moving when the unexpected happens

What We’re Looking For

Flooring experience is required. We need someone who understands the realities of flooring installation and can confidently work with installers, customers, and our internal team.

You must also:

• Be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Flooring Installation Experience – 5+ years
• Have leadership or management experience
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Be organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Be comfortable holding people accountable while treating them with respect
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Be willing to work a rotating Saturday schedule with other Operations Managers

Forklift certification is a plus, but we are happy to provide training.
