Target Metal Blanking (TMB) caters to the automotive industry, providing innovative and customer-focused metal solutions to OEMs and Tier I & II suppliers. With facilities in New Boston, MI; Sauk Village, IL; and North Vernon, IN, we offer a full suite of services, including slit coil, cut-to-length blanks, configured blanks, trapezoid, parallelogram, and chevron blanks. All of our locations benefit from rail access for efficient inbound and outbound logistics. TMB specializes in Configured Blanking, Laser Blanking, CTL, and Slitting for both exposed and unexposed surface conditions, and we maintain a robust inventory of Aluminum, Carbon, and Stainless Steels.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Manager at our Sauk Village, IL location. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, managing the repair and upkeep of equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and supervising maintenance team members. This role will also involve ensuring that all maintenance activities align with company safety protocols and operational efficiency standards.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Maintenance Management and hands-on experience with Maintenance & Repair processes
- Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and implementing Preventive Maintenance programs
- Proven Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead and manage a maintenance team effectively
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to industrial settings
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Technical certification or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is a plus
- Experience in the automotive or metal manufacturing industry is preferred
