Assignment Details

Requirements

• Current NY LPN Licensure
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• 1 year of experience as an LPN

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for residents.
• Collect and communicate data regarding residents' physical and psychosocial condition.
• Assist in the development of age-appropriate and culturally relevant care plans.
• Evaluate resident outcomes and recommend revisions to care plans as necessary.
• Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice.
• Participate in mentoring and orientation of new staff.

Compliance / Notes

Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is anticipated.
