What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and vendors at a technology-focused campus by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings offices common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor employee and vendor activity reporting unusual conditions and documenting incidents in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts Allied Universal leadership and responding emergency personnel while maintaining accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of security-related law enforcement military police or military experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
