Quality Control Technician
Our Reading Area client is seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician for their team! This is a core position within the company and our client is offering a career opportunity with room for growth! Quality Control Technician Pay: $22- 28/hr depending on experience Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and more! Shift: 1st shift Monday through Friday (7am-3:30pm) Location: Reading, PA
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician:
- Inspection of incoming parts and completing first article inspections, Final QC Inspections
- Review quality and quantity of finished product
- Knowledge and experience with both surface mount technology and through hole soldering techniques
- Reading and understanding electronic schematics
- Documenting data in Excel, Microsoft office
- Communicating defects and issues to Supervisor
Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician:
- Knowledge of and experience with surface mount and thru-hole soldering is required
- At least 2 years of experience with Electronics Quality Control
- Working knowledge of computers and basic skill with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Familiarity with IPC standards of the electronics industry is a plus
- Familiarity with reading and drawing electronic schematics is a plus
- Excellent organizational and reasoning skills
- Able to work well with others and possess excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented and able to concentrate at a high level
