Precision Manufacturing Operator – 1st Shift

Glastonbury, CT | Full-Time | 1st Shift

A growing precision manufacturing company in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced processing equipment and produce high-quality metal components used in industries including aerospace, medical devices, electronics, and industrial manufacturing.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in manufacturing, machine operation, production, assembly, or mechanical work who enjoy hands-on tasks, learning new processes, and creating parts where quality and precision are critical.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate specialized manufacturing equipment used to process precision metal components.
Monitor production processes to ensure parts meet quality requirements.
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
Perform equipment cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Work closely with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or assembly experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn specialized processes.
Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
Ability to read work instructions and blueprints is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as needed.
