Job Description

As a driver, you will be responsible for operating the company cargo van and box truck as needed. You will perform pickup and delivery of goods in a safe and efficient manner to various locations in Northeast Ohio, ensuring timely and secure transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive company cargo van and box truck as needed.
• Perform pickup and delivery of goods safely and efficiently to outside services in Northeast Ohio.
• Document all preventative maintenance for company vehicles.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is safely secured.
• Complete appropriate paperwork daily.
• Coordinate delivery schedules between all facilities with the Shipping Coordinator.

Essential Skills

• Driving and unloading experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Previous experience with van, shuttle, or box truck driving.
• Forklift operation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs to load vehicle cargo.
• Ability to drive safely in all weather conditions.
• Previous box truck driving experience is preferred.
• Must be reachable via cell phone during working hours.

Work Environment

This position operates on 1st shift hours, from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. The work environment involves handling various types of cargo and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Akron, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
