As a Counselor, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our clients each day by providing counseling services to your assigned clients including individual, family / group therapy sessions, and promoting a healthy environment. You will partner with the Clinical Supervisor to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment for our adult or kid clients.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and complete diagnostics assessments within 48 hours
- Keep accurate and Medicaid complaint documentation
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in case management, social work, or other related fields
- Experience working with an electronic health record system of some sort
- Experience completing Medicaid billable progress notes
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
- Must have experience doing Diagnostic Assessments and treatment planning
- Must have transportation, valid license with less than 4 points and insurance
- Minimum of BSW
- Must have valid driver’s license with less than 4 points, Valid insurance
- Must have minimum of LSW , LPC, LISW, LPCC, LISW-S, LPCC-S
