Prep Cook - Dynamic Kitchen Team with Growth & Perks

The Commissary Prep Cook duties include, but are not limited to:Setting up, breaking down and properly sanitizing workstations;Following prep production lists;Gathering, measuring, preparing, chopping, portioning and/or cooking food ingredients;Prepare salads, breads, salad dressings and sauces;Assist with receiving deliveries from suppliers and alert management of any quality issues;Assist with packaging and loading delivery trucks;Assist with washing cookware and smallware as needed;Alert management of any quality or safety concerns;Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are properly maintained, cleaned and used correctly;Ensure proper labeling, dating and storage of prepared food items;Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic work environment at all times;Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained;Report all waste or spoilage to management;Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use;Follow running and closing sidework lists;Perform tasks or duties as directed by the management;Learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen.Benefits for Full-Time-Eligible Employees include: Employer sponsored Med, Dental, Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation, and employer matching 401(k).
