Director, ASAT Critical Reagent Operations

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director of Analytical Science and Technology to lead critical reagent strategy and operations across its cell therapy manufacturing network. The role combines strategic oversight of global reagent programs with technical leadership of cross-functional teams supporting GMP quality control and commercial supply.
Responsibilities
- Define network strategy, governance model, and operational framework for critical reagent programs across cell therapy manufacturing
- Establish standards for reagent qualification, characterization, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Lead reagent comparability assessments and oversee supplier qualification and performance monitoring across the network
- Drive network harmonization of reagent specifications and testing requirements; support implementation of new manufacturing technologies
- Serve as enterprise owner and technical authority for critical reagent governance and represent organization during regulatory inspections
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related scientific field; advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, cell therapy, or biologics manufacturing
- 6+ years of leadership experience managing scientific and technical teams
- Expertise in critical reagent lifecycle management, qualification, and supplier oversight in GMP environments
- Knowledge of commercial manufacturing processes, QC testing, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience with network-wide scientific initiatives and cross-functional program leadership
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive enterprise decisions
