Service Project Manager

Job Summary Seeking a Service Project Manager to oversee the long‑term scheduling and execution of service workloads, manage large quoted work and service projects with unique scopes, and ensure successful contract performance within an office and/or area. The role reports to the Service Operations Manager and collaborates closely with Area Service Leaders, local Area Service Managers, and customers to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and positive business results. Responsibilities Ensure timely completion of assigned projects, financial performance, and the highest level of customer satisfaction. Develop and implement strategic long‑term scheduling based on the entire service workload to optimize resource allocation and project timelines. Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules, project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish Service Agreement (SA) work, involving complex service applications and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards. Partner to review estimates and proposals, enter projects, order parts, track parts, schedule labor internally and with customers, and review completion of projects and billing coordination. Anticipate and set monthly revenue forecasts, providing accurate and timely projections to support financial planning. Support Regional Coordinators (RCs) in identifying the proper skillsets required for completing jobs effectively. Assist Account Managers and Team Leads with site surveys to ensure accurate project planning and execution. Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff. Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff. Drive contract performance by proactively identifying scope, scheduling, and material issues that can enhance margin expansion and overall profitability. Ensure that all assigned staff and subcontractors work in a safe manner per Trane and OSHA policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in project management, HVAC or related preferred. Experienced and knowledgeable in contracting processes and estimating associated with the installation of HVAC systems and managing subcontractors preferred. Computer skills are essential. Highly organized and strongly customer‑service oriented. Salary Annual Base Salary Range: $84,740.00 - $118,860.00.
