What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient neuroconsultations and admit patients across all ages
• Conduct electroencephalograms (EEG) readings—routine and continuous
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with hospital teams using EPIC EMR system (training not provided)
• Maintain high-quality, high-volume neuro care in a fast-paced environment
• Support hospital coverage during designated shifts and call-outs
• Ensure compliance with state licensing and hospital protocols

What You Need

• State license to practice in Tennessee (TN license required prior to start)
• DEA registration in TN
• Board Certification in Neuro or NeuroHospitalist
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in neurohospitalist roles
• Ability to read EEGs effectively
• Comfortable working in high-volume, fast-paced settings
• COVID and flu vaccines required

About the Assignment

This role involves covering a busy hospital's neuro needs, including admit and consult duties across all ages. Providers will participate in shift work with scheduled on-site presence during daytime hours and overnight call. The facility values experienced neurohospitalists capable of managing high patient volumes and complex neurological cases, including EEG interpretation.
